Good morning ☀️😃
How do we keep our peace in a topsy-turvy world? God’s word is always a good place to start and end. It can center and calm us better than any illegal or pharmaceutical drug designed to numb our brains. Even when depression was my old familiar friend, I preferred the pain to the numbness of drugs. Christ delivered me from periodic bouts of deep depression. The scripture below and the Psalms are always in season for healing. Be blessed and joyful. God knows you even when you don’t know him. He has a plan and purpose for every one willing to receive the free gift 🎁 #Christmas #prayer #hope #depression
‼️Did you know every follower of Jesus Christ is FREE to live a HOLY SPIRIT guided life? God is INTERESTED in the minute details of our lives.
“So if the son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
John 8:36
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
2 Corinthians 3:17
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
Galatians 5:1
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:1–2
Have a blessed week!
Spring is around the corner! This verse came to me while I was praying and worshiping God. Wow!
“You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
Psalm 16: 11 (MEV) .
What does this verse mean to you? Does it comfort you as it does me?
Don’t live your life in fear of men.
We must be willing to stand on biblical principles even if it costs us our lives.
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Matthew 16: 24-28 (NIV).
