Never allow fear control your life. Given we have one life to live on earth without unlimited do-overs, letās make it count by thinking beyond ourselves. Our Founding Fathers risked everything to break free from the yoke of Great Britain. What, if anything, are you willing to risk?
āDonāt fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Arenāt two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Fatherās consent. But even the hairs of your head have all been counted. So donāt be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.ā Matthew 10: 28-31 (CSB).

Please meditate on one of my favorite verses.
āTherefore, since we are encompassed with such a great cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

God reminded me today of a powerful truth: the real battle isnāt against the people who hurt, oppose, or frustrate us. Those individuals are often just foot soldiersāunaware of the spiritual forces directing them from the shadows.
Our true struggle is against the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this present darkness.
So letās pray for greater discernment and opened eyesāfor ourselves and for those around usāso we can see the battle clearly and fight it the right way.
āFor we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Are we truly where we ought to be spiritually?
Sometimes God has to gently remind us of His many promises. He once spoke into my spirit that fear and faith cannot coexist. And itās true.
āYou keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.ā
Isaiah 26:3-4 (ESV)
And His Word also declares:
āThere is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fearā¦ā
1 John 4:18 (ESV)
When our minds stay fixed on Him, His perfect love drives out fear and ushers in perfect peace. š
