Never allow fear control your life. Given we have one life to live on earth without unlimited do-overs, letās make it count by thinking beyond ourselves. Our Founding Fathers risked everything to break free from the yoke of Great Britain. What, if anything, are you willing to risk?
āDonāt fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Arenāt two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Fatherās consent. But even the hairs of your head have all been counted. I donāt know about you, but I needed this reminder of Godās promises this morning:
Romans 8:26-28 (NLT)
āAnd the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we donāt know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with Godās own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.ā
