We are celebrating the gift of God’s snow in Nashville. It is a rare treat to have such an abundance of it and a taste of the cold that Americans from other states experience every year.
“The heavens declare the glory of God;

Are we learning to be content in all circumstances? I confess I grumbled about a 3-day loss of electrical power, before reflecting on God’s faithfulness and His provision. Apostle Paul has something relevant to say about adversity and abundance.
“I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4: 11-13 (NIV).
