Good morning š
In every generation, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob wants to comfort his people. He told the Prophet Isaiah:
āComfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,āØand cry to her that her warfare is ended,āØthat her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord's handāØdouble for all her sins.
A voice cries: āIn the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain.
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spokenāā Isaiah 40: 1-5 (ESV).

I take much comfort in these verses. What about you? How has God been faithful to you when the enemy came in like a flood?

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.ā
