Dear Believers,
Today is a good day to pray for national and international leaders of both parties. We are admonished to always pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” Psalms 122: 6-7 (ESV).
“First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.”

Jesus shared many words of comfort to his followers. The Judeo-Christian Bible is rich in sources of comfort. We need to remember and meditate on verses that encourage us.
“As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. Nashvillians please be aware that Metro City Council has listed on its agenda a resolution condemning Israel and its treatment of the Palestinian people.
