Good morning and Happy Saturday ☀️
Those of us who have lost our parents or been rejected by them can find solace in Psalm 27. Our God knows our pain and He heards our unspoken requests. God protects us from seen and unseen dangers. He is available to all who seek him and yes, he answers prayers.
“Hear my voice when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.
My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior.
Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.”

If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together ...
