As a black Democrat, I always believed in the justice system and never knew how corrupt and biased it is if you happen to belong to the wrong political party or if you belong to a disfavored group.
I never thought I would witness the total weaponization of the justice system against perceived political enemies. I believe this has happened because colleges and universities stopped training professionals and started recruiting activists. Jesus shared many words of comfort to his followers. The Judeo-Christian Bible is rich in sources of comfort. We need to remember and meditate on verses that encourage us.
“As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
