Good morning ☀️🌞
It is easy to give in to fear and anxiety. When our knees begin to knock and our heart becomes faint, remember we have a defender and an advocate who sees and loves us.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 (ESV).
Follow the example of Corrie Ten Boom, who escaped death in a concentration camp.
“If you look at the world, you'll be distressed. If you look within, you'll be depressed. If you look at God you'll be at rest.”

Greetings 👋
God knows who we REALLY are. We are NAKED before him. It’s a sobering realization, isn’t it!
Here’s my meditation for today continuing in 1 John 4.
“. . . He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world, and therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are of God, and whoever knows God listens to us. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”
1 John 4: 4-6 (MEV).
Greetings 👋
I’m meditating on 1 John 4. We are admonished to test the spirits coming from our leaders and others with whom we interact.
“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4: 1-4 (NIV).
