Good morning 🌞☀️
How many of us have moved from a place of lack to one of comfort? No matter how much we prosper, we are poor when we get too busy to honor God. Life is fleeting. Riches can never bring lasting happiness, joy, and peace.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6: 19-21 (NIV).
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Matthew 6: 24 (NIV).

Greetings 👋
God knows who we REALLY are. We are NAKED before him. It’s a sobering realization, isn’t it!
Here’s my meditation for today continuing in 1 John 4.
“. . . He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world, and therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are of God, and whoever knows God listens to us. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”
1 John 4: 4-6 (MEV).
Greetings 👋
I’m meditating on 1 John 4. We are admonished to test the spirits coming from our leaders and others with whom we interact.
“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4: 1-4 (NIV).
