Good morning ☀️
We have awakened to the unexpected tragedy that occurred in Baltimore while many of us were sleeping. Tragedies are part of the human experience. God is good and he comforts us.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Psalm 34:18 (ESV).
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
Romans 12:19 (ESV).
“Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Isaiah 61:1-3 (ESV).

If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together ...
