Good morning 🌞
My heart grieves for Jewish people around the world who are persecuted because of their religion and ethnicity. God has promised Abraham’s descendants:
“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
“I will make you into a great nation,
 and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:3 (NIV).
“I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. . .” Romans 11: 1-2 (ESV). #antisemitism #Jews #Israel
God foreknew us and knows EXACTLY when each of us will leave this earth.
“For you created my inmost being;
 you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

I prayed for today’s scripture and this is what the Lord dropped into my spirit. Maybe we all need this reminder that God has high standards. Christianity is a come as you are religion, but we are expected to allow Christ and the Holy Spirit to change us from the inside out.
“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”
1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 (ESV).
