Greetings š
Letās praise the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob! Christians know him as Jesus in the godhead. We need Him today and everyday. Unlike man, God doesnāt change on us. His word is everlasting and so are his standards on how his servants ought to live our lives.
āGod said to Moses, āI am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: āI am has sent me to you.āā
God also said to Moses, āSay to the Israelites, āThe Lord, the God of your fathersāthe God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacobāhas sent me to you.ā
āThis is my name forever,āØĀ Ā Ā Ā the name you shall call meāØĀ Ā Ā Ā from generation to generation.ā
Exodus 3: 14-15 (NIV)
Praise God for being trustworthy and true.

Do you have peace in your life? It isnāt out of reach.
Jesus said:
āPeace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.ā
ā John 14:27 (NIV)
His peace is not the worldās temporary calm. It is a free gift that can still a troubled heart.

Yesterday the world lost Dolly Parton. Her family said sadness is ours, not hers ā that she ālived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus.ā
That line stays with me because Scripture is honest about both sides of the story:
We each have an appointment with death. After that comes judgment. But Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many ā and He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him.
āAnd just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.āāØā Hebrews 9:27ā28 (ESV).
Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for the songs, the joy, and the light.
Does this message give you hope today? How has Christ met you in grief or in life? šš¾
