I visited the Cool Springs Mall this morning with a child. The image pasted below greeted us at a prominently placed store near the elevators and stairway. The child immediately launched into a series of questions about what it meant and why. I started with Adam and Eve and God’s establishment of marriage and his intent for males and females and how gay sex differs from God’s plan for mankind.
I warned the child that some adults target and molest children. If a nine-year-old headed for fourth grade can ask probing questions about gay advertising, he or she most deserves answers. Parents or grandparents should be the ones who talk with children about sex and not school teachers or leaders of children’s clubs and scouting troops. We need to remind them that God considers PRIDE a sin. Taking pride in sexual expression is odd. It should not be advertised to the public.
There are scriptures that reveal gay sex advertising and propaganda is not good for our nation or its children. Leave them alone! #CoolSpringMall #BrentwoodTN #FranklinTN #Tennessee
How many of you need extra peace today?
Jesus is with us now and forever.
He will never leave nor forsake us.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11: 28-30 (NIV). #Bible #Peace #Rest #meditation
These verses are more easily posted than practiced. Help me, Lord
“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
Live in harmony with one another.
Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly.
Never be wise in your own sight.
Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all.
If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
Romans 12: 14-19 (NIV).
