Every generation has had to fight its own demons. We are not alone. We have backup!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (ESV).
“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.” Luke 12: 4-5 (NIV).
“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14: 25-27 (NIV).
As we stand with Erika Kirk and celebrate the life of #CharlieKirk , we can take solace in these verses and many others. We who know Christ, understand our times are in his hands, and that some of us are called to martyrdom. God’s word is clear about this. #death #ErikaKirk
Please pray for leaders and influencers that God places on your heart. It can be a quick (silent) Nehemiah prayer. Pray that God will protect them and draw them ever closer to him.
