God’s word sets a high standard for followers of Christ. What happens if a critical mass of Believers practiced these principles in our daily lives?
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. . .
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 13-15, 19-23 (NIV).
Let’s try to do better!
Please pray for President Trump and Melania.
Pray for the President’s health, discernment, patience, and spiritual growth or as the Lord leads you.
Pray for those whom God has placed around him. May they be as bold as lions when there is a need to deliver warnings.
Pray that God will raise up and rekindle the faith of any of us who are tired and wavering.
Fresh fire for everyone who believes that prayer can change hearts, minds, and nations.
Amen!
Greetings 👋
Our God has high standards, but fortunately for us the blood of Christ covers us through his freely given grace and mercy. Be encouraged my friend!
“Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord?
Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?
Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord,
and keep their promises even when it hurts.
Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.” Psalm 15: 1-5 (NLT).
