What will the last days look like before the final return of Christ? Matthew, Chapter 24, gives us a glimpse.
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. Read the entire chapter when you get a chance.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.”
Matthew 24: 6-12.
The Christian walk was never meant to be a cakewalk where everyone loves us. Some of us will be martyred for our beliefs. But we know that there’s a new day coming.

I’ve always struggled with the first clause of this proverb, especially when I am on social media. 🤷🏾‍♀️I certainly fear the Lord and want the promised health and wellness.
What about you? Has this been a hard admonition to follow?

Do you have peace in your life? It isn’t out of reach.

His peace is not the world’s temporary calm. It is a free gift that can still a troubled heart.
