The word “time” in Ephesians 5:16 refers to kairos time and not chronos. Thus, 5785 is an important Kairos year in God’s timeline, and it will dictate the next several years! Conversely, the enemy seeks to manipulate this Kairos year to work in his favor. Are we learning to be content in all circumstances? I confess I grumbled about a 3-day loss of electrical power, before reflecting on God’s faithfulness and His provision. Apostle Paul has something relevant to say about adversity and abundance.
“I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4: 11-13 (NIV).

How do we keep our peace and joy in a world gone mad? The Apostle Paul offers some guidance for a peaceful state of mind.
