Be encouraged this holiday season. I love Hebrews 12: 1 because the imagery makes me think about friends and relatives who have gone to be with the Lord.
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12: 1-3 (NKJV).

This is so beautiful and powerfully encouraging. We are NEVER too old to be God’s children.

Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
