“The Gay Affair is actually as much about DEI and affirmative action, and their respective and connective failures, as it is about Gay’s perceived serial plagiarism and Harvard’s oversight, neglect, or unwillingness to properly vet her dissertation that we now know needed to be fixed before it was approved, published, and won a Harvard University award,” (p. xxii).” @Harvard @thecrimson #ClaudineGay

Greetings 👋
Have you noticed the truth in Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr’s observation the things the more things change, the more they stay the same?
Let’s consider this Psalm of David. How many of us feel this way today? 🙋🏾♀️
“Help, O Lord, for the godly are fast disappearing! The faithful have vanished from the earth!
Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts. . .They say, “We will lie to our hearts’ content. Our lips are our own—who can stop us?”
Psalm 12: 1-2, 4 (NLT).
Happy Monday!
These verses always encourages me and lifts my spirits. What about you?
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Matthew 11: 28-29 (NLT).

‘Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such...
