The Gay Affair: Harvard, Plagiarism, and the Death of Academic Integrity

“The Gay Affair is actually as much about DEI and affirmative action, and their respective and connective failures, as it is about Gay’s perceived serial plagiarism and Harvard’s oversight, neglect, or unwillingness to properly vet her dissertation that we now know needed to be fixed before it was approved, published, and won a Harvard University award,” (p. xxii).” @Harvard @thecrimson #ClaudineGay

No! We don’t need proxy voting in Congress

@SpeakerJohnson and @POTUS should take a firm stance against any efforts to return Covid-era proxy voting to Congress. Proxy voting under any conditions defies 230 years of tradition and opens the door to abuses down the road. Let’s call it the slippery slope argument or the camel with the nose under the tent syndrome. NO! Proxy voting is a terrible idea! We start with parents and end with hospitalized and members “temporarily” in nursing homes. Soon I will tell you how I really feel about this. #Proxy #Congress @elonmusk @RepLuna @realDonaldTrump @HouseGOP @SenateGOP

We are beloved and known

We were lost and wandering before we found the Lord. We just didn’t know it!

I was so foolish and ignorant—I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.

Yet I still belong to you;you hold my right hand.

You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.

Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth.

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.

Those who desert him will perish, for you destroy those who abandon you.

But as for me, how good it is to be near God!nI have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter, band I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.”

Psalm 73: 22-28 (NIV).
