The elimination of affirmative action via executive action takes us back to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. We got it right in the 1960s. EEOC remains the enforcement mechanism. We can have diverse workplaces and institutions if we follow the laws of the land.
