These verses resonated with my spirit this morning. I’m meditating on what the message is for me.
“Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important. Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.” Galatians 6: 1-5 (NLT). @patsylevang5

Greetings 👋
Yesterday the world lost Dolly Parton. Her family said sadness is ours, not hers — that she “lived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus.”
That line stays with me because Scripture is honest about both sides of the story:
We each have an appointment with death. After that comes judgment. But Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many — and He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him.
“And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” — Hebrews 9:27–28 (ESV).
Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for the songs, the joy, and the light.
