Are you being too hard on you?

Are you your own worst critic? I tend to beat myself up over my shortcomings. Here’s the verse the Lord gave me last night. He speaks this to every believer.

“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature.

So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.

He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.” Romans 8: 1-4 (NLT).

As we stand with Erika Kirk and celebrate the life of #CharlieKirk , we can take solace in these verses and many others. We who know Christ, understand our times are in his hands, and that some of us are called to martyrdom. God’s word is clear about this. #death #ErikaKirk

Intercession

Please pray for leaders and influencers that God places on your heart. It can be a quick (silent) Nehemiah prayer. Pray that God will protect them and draw them ever closer to him.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NIV),.
