Greetings š
God expects and rewards genuine humility.
Let us be about our Fatherās business.
āFor by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying,then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.ā

Has God ever surprised you by dropping just the right verses into your spirit during challenging times?
This passage has been such a lifeline for me: Isaiah 41:10-13 (ESV)
āfear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish.
You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them;
those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.
For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, āFear not,
I am the one who helps you.āā
ā¼ļøThose who mess with Godās people have no idea what theyāre unleashing against themselves.

Here are some words for us to remember as we watch life unfold.
āPride goes before destruction,āØAnd a haughty spirit before a fall.
Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.
The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning.
Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly.ā
Proverbs 16: 18-22 (NKJV).
How often have you watched this happen to yourself and others? Itās a reminder of how we ought to live.
Why are we surprised that the world hates us?
Didnāt Jesus tell His disciples what to expect when He sent them out?
Letās pause and let the verses below sink in!
āBehold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues.
You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak.
For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
āNow brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
And you will be hated by all for My nameās sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.ā
Matthew 10: 16-23 (NKJV).
