Greetings šŸ‘‹

Please pause and reflect on this wonderful message about our God.

ā€œHonor the Lord, you heavenly beings; honor the Lord for his glory and strength.

Honor the Lord for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty sea.

The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.

The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars; the Lord shatters the cedars of Lebanon.

He makes Lebanon’s mountains skip like a calf; he makes Mount Hermon leap like a young wild ox.

The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning.

The voice of the Lord makes the barren wilderness quake; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts, ā€œGlory!ā€

The Lord rules over the floodwaters. The Lord reigns as king forever.

The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.ā€ Psalm 29: 1-11 NLT).

Here's a word for today!
Here's a word for today!

Has God ever surprised you by dropping just the right verses into your spirit during challenging times?

This passage has been such a lifeline for me: Isaiah 41:10-13 (ESV)

ā€œfear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish.

You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them;
those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.

For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, ā€˜Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.ā€™ā€

ā€¼ļøThose who mess with God’s people have no idea what they’re unleashing against themselves.

Here are some words for us to remember as we watch life unfold.

ā€œPride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before a fall.

Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.

He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning.

Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly.ā€

Proverbs 16: 18-22 (NKJV).

How often have you watched this happen to yourself and others? It’s a reminder of how we ought to live.

Why are we surprised that the world hates us?

Didn’t Jesus tell His disciples what to expect when He sent them out?

Let’s pause and let the verses below sink in!

ā€œBehold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues.

You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.

But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak.

For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

ā€œNow brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.ā€

Matthew 10: 16-23 (NKJV).

We should be operating from a ...
