Greetings 👋
Here’s more of Psalm 34. Let’s get these words deep into our hearts and minds.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.
Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.”
Psalm 34: 15-22 (NIV).
Has God ever surprised you by dropping just the right verses into your spirit during challenging times?
This passage has been such a lifeline for me: Isaiah 41:10-13 (ESV)
“fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish.
You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them;
those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.
For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.’”
‼️Those who mess with God’s people have no idea what they’re unleashing against themselves.

Here are some words for us to remember as we watch life unfold.
“Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.
The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning.
Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly.”
Proverbs 16: 18-22 (NKJV).
How often have you watched this happen to yourself and others? It’s a reminder of how we ought to live.
Why are we surprised that the world hates us?
Didn’t Jesus tell His disciples what to expect when He sent them out?
Let’s pause and let the verses below sink in!
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues.
You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak.
For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
“Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”
Matthew 10: 16-23 (NKJV).
