What does the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob want from you and me? He has repeatedly impressed this verse on my heart and mind. I received it again during my morning meditation.

“He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you

But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?

Did you know that under NYC's new mayor, Zohran Mamdani—the city's first Muslim leader—the 5x daily Adhan (Muslim call to prayer) is now authorized to echo through the streets of New York? This expands on previous policies, allowing broadcasts every day, from dawn to night.

What started as Friday-only under Adams is now a full daily ritual, voted in by the majority of New Yorkers who backed this administration.

But here's a thought: If public expressions of faith are the new norm in one of America's most diverse cities, why not balance the scales? I challenge Christians and Jews—especially in areas where Islamic influence is strong—to organize our own daily public prayer vigils. Let's unite in prayer to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the same God Christians know as Jesus Christ. Push back against division and reclaim the light in our shared spaces.

This isn't about confrontation; it's about equality and spiritual resilience. The gauntlet is down—will we pick it up? Let's ...

What does God want to accomplish in your life in 2026? He certainly has my attention.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

(2 Corinthian 12:9).

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,  to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!”

(Ephesians 3:20).

Here’s a prayer I prayed this morning. Am I the only imperfect Believer who fails their own standards of righteousness? I need a return of the fire. 🔥

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
 so that sinners will turn back to you.”
