Here’s the true state of Believers when we interact with the lost and deceived. It takes great courage and discernment to stand during perilous times.
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
2 Corinthians 4: 4-9 (NIV).
Greetings 👋
This verse (2 Chronicles 7:14) speaks a promise to Believers in EVERY nation across the world; BECAUSE the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob has children EVERYWHERE. Our eternal God extends an invitation through His Word for us to know and walk with Him. Praise Him!
Will you join me in praying or reading aloud this verse?
Spiritual revival would be the GREATEST Christmas gift we could receive this season. #Christmas #revival #Jesus #CarolSwain
Greetings 👋
Don’t you just love the WISDOM of PROVERBS? I struggle with verse 2. 🤷🏾♀️ It’s a carry over from low self-esteem days.
“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.
Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.”
Proverbs 27: 1-2 (NIV).
Greetings 👋
Here are the VERY encouraging words I have been meditating on for the past few days.
“That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.’” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT).
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”
Hebrews 12: 1-2 (NLT).
