Jesus the Great High Priest
14Ā Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,[a] Jesus the Son of God,let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15Ā For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we areāyet he did not sin. 16Ā Let us then approach Godās throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.ā Hebrews 4: 12-16 (NIV).

How often do people assume God is limited to certain places, seasons, or circumstances?
In 1 Kings 20, Israel faced the Arameans, who decided the Lord was only a god of the mountains, not the valleys.
This was His answer:
āThis is what the Lord says: āSince the Arameans have said, āThe Lord is a god of mountains, but He is not a god of valleys,ā therefore I will hand over to you all this great multitude, and you shall know that I am the Lord.āā
So they camped, one opposite the other, for seven days. And on the seventh day the battle was joined, and the sons of Israel killed of the Arameans a hundred thousand foot soldiers in a single day.

The valley was not outside His reach.

His word tells us:
āAnd without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.ā
