Greetings š
Here are the VERY encouraging words I have been meditating on for the past few days.
āThat is what the Scriptures mean when they say, āNo eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.āā 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT).
āTherefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside Godās throne.ā
Hebrews 12: 1-2 (NLT).

Have you noticed the truth in Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karrās observation the things the more things change, the more they stay the same?
Letās consider this Psalm of David. How many of us feel this way today? šš¾āāļø
āHelp, O Lord, for the godly are fast disappearing! The faithful have vanished from the earth!
Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts. . .They say, āWe will lie to our heartsā content. Our lips are our ownāwho can stop us?ā
Psalm 12: 1-2, 4 (NLT).

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
āConsider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe youāyou of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such...
