Good morning 🌞
Here’s my Saturday morning meditation. It is Paul’s prayer for the Philippians. Everyone needs encouragement from time to time.
“I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ. . .
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment, that you may approve things that are excellent so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God.”
Philippians 1: 6, 9-11 (MEV).
We need a God-ordained solution to the #StraitofHormuz stranglehold aimed at weakening the #UnitedStates and #Israel. Instead of bombs and blustering, dedicated prayer warriors from both nations should be implored to fast and pray. In addition, the leaders of the nations should be open to godly wisdom from men and women whom God has blessed with special prophetic knowledge. Our leaders don’t need false prophets to stoke their bloated egos. Our leaders need “Nathan’s” who hear from God and will speak uncomfortable truths.
Here’s my acrylic painting of the Crucifixion of Christ. I painted it a few years ago in an art class. #Easter #crucifixion #JesusChrist #cross
Today is #MaundyThursday. Have you ever wondered about the Eucharist or what Protestants refer to as the Last Supper.? Here’s when and how Jesus instituted it:
“And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
“In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”
Luke 22: 19-20 (NIV).
