Greetings š
As Christians, itās wise to regularly examine our hearts. Are we craving the worldās approval a little too much?
Jesus didnāt sugarcoat what following Him would cost:
āIf the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.
Do you remember what I told you? āA slave is not greater than the master.ā Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you. They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the one who sent me.
They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin.
Anyone who hates me also hates my Father. If I hadnāt done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father.
This fulfills what is written in their Scriptures: āThey hated me without cause.āā
ā John 15:18-25 (NLT)
Opposition from the world isnāt a sign that somethingās wrong with your faith ā itās often confirmation that you belong to Jesus.
What about you? When nonbelievers attack or criticize you for your faith, does it ruin your day⦠or does it remind you whose you are?
Reflect on this today and stand firm. You and I were chosen to be different.

Today we learned that Senator Lindsey Graham has passed away after a sudden illness. He was 71.
Itās a sobering reminder that none of us is promised tomorrow. Our times are in His hands.
āMy times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.ā ā Psalm 31:15
What kind of legacy do we want to leave?
Graham and Mitch McConnell were once two of the most powerful figures in American politicsāmen who helped shape foreign policy, the courts, and the direction of their party for decades. Now both are no longer positioned to influence world events.
Life moves quickly. Power fades. Influence passes. God is in control!
Letās pray that God raises up a new generation of men and women leaders after His own heartāleaders marked by wisdom, courage, integrity, and a genuine fear of the Lord.
May the Lord comfort Senator Grahamās family, his staff, and all who mourn him today.
May Senator Graham rest in peace.
Never forget that God is in control of world leaders and events. Nations operate on His timetable. He will not be mocked or pimped.
āPraise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are His.
He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.ā
ā Daniel 2:20-21 (NIV)
God alone can change the trajectory of nations, and He doesnāt calculate like humans.
Read Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV):
āFor my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,ā declares the Lord.
āAs the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.ā
God may not be fighting for the nation that we think should win, because He is God and He knows the secrets of men.
Feel free to chime in.

Have you ever paused to reflect on the extraordinary call and commissioning of the Prophet Jeremiah?
God knew him intimately before he was formed in the womb. Before he took his first breath, the Lord had already set him apart with a purpose.
Hereās what the Bible tells us:
āThe word of the Lord came to me, saying, āBefore I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.ā
āAlas, Sovereign Lord,ā I said, āI do not know how to speak; I am too young.ā
But the Lord said to me, āDo not say, āI am too young.ā You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,ā declares the Lord.ā
Jeremiah 1: 4-8 (NIV).
Jeremiahās assignment was incredibly difficult, and he became known as the āweeping prophet.ā Yet he walked in obedience.
What about you?
God has also called and wired you for something unique. That purpose ...
