Greetings 👋
I’m reading and meditating on Jeremiah 12 today. Jeremiah is known as “The Weeping Prophet.” He was tasked with warning people about the coming judgment.
“. . .Why are the wicked so prosperous? Why are evil people so happy?
You have planted them, and they have taken root and prospered.
Your name is on their lips, but you are far from their hearts.
But as for me, Lord, you know my heart. You see me and test my thoughts.
Drag these people away like sheep to be butchered! Set them aside to be slaughtered!. . .
“The Lord’s Reply to Jeremiah
“If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses?
If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?
Even your brothers, members of your own family, have turned against you.
They plot and raise complaints against you.
Do not trust them, no matter how pleasantly they speak.”
Jeremiah 12: 1-3, 5-6 (NLT).
I ponder the lessons for us today and for nations that have ignored or abandoned the commandments of the Lord.
What stood out to you in Jeremiah 12? How do you process it when it feels like the wicked are prospering while the faithful struggle? Share your thoughts below 👇 I’d love to read them.”

Throwback to a few years ago — still one of my favorite photos. Standing with these incredible women reminded me how powerful it is when we show up for each other. The smiles, the purpose, the sisterhood… some things don’t change.
What’s one moment from the past few years that still fires you up?

How often do people assume God is limited to certain places, seasons, or circumstances?
In 1 Kings 20, Israel faced the Arameans, who decided the Lord was only a god of the mountains, not the valleys.
This was His answer:
“This is what the Lord says: ‘Since the Arameans have said, “The Lord is a god of mountains, but He is not a god of valleys,” therefore I will hand over to you all this great multitude, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”
So they camped, one opposite the other, for seven days. And on the seventh day the battle was joined, and the sons of Israel killed of the Arameans a hundred thousand foot soldiers in a single day.
1 Kings 20:28-29 (NASB)
The valley was not outside His reach.

How is your faith during these difficult times?
God is looking for those who will believe and take action.
His word tells us:
“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
Hebrews 11:6-7 (NASB)
Where is He asking you to take that next leap of faith?
